Amazon Fire Cube vs Roku

You might remember by my earlier post called Amazon Fire Stick vs. Roku.

I’ve been running an Amazon Fire cube now for about 6 months.

It is fine.

I noticed pixelation often, especially during sports.

I’m also not a fan of the Cube having Alexa listening, even though I have Alexa disabled.

I am still a fan of DirecTV Now.
I’m annoyed at their price increases.
I’ve been annoyed with the speed of the DirecTV Now app on Fire.
It is slow.
I decided to look at my Roku again.

Things are so much better…so much faster on the Roku.
This is a Roku 3.
DirecTV Now is 100% faster on the Roku.
The picture is also significantly better.

I’ve now powered down the Fire Cube.
