Text to Speach Texting

Yesterday a client with an iPhone asked me how to get his phone to respond to voice commands.

I wasn’t sure, but after fiddling for a few minutes we got it.

Then someone chimed in about voice recognition for texting.

Huh?

I grabbed my Android phone and gave it a shot.

Wow.

Next thing you see is 3 grown people talking into their phones…to text each other.

Genius!  Or is it?

While voice recognition does give one the ability to further multi-task, it sure seems like the whole reason to talk into a phone is for someone on the other end to hear you…not read you.

The cycle that is technology is funny…kind of like fashion.

We now have apps that make our crisp and clear digital photos look like old poor quality film pics.

Did you select the old phone ring as your ring tone?
